For years I have worked in the information technology industry, both as a hands-on network engineer and later as a technical author. Recently, I have refreshed my skills with a run of IT certifications. It gives me renewed confidence in my technical knowledge and demonstrates my capabilities to the world at large. Beyond that, it qualifies me to perform in roles that might not have been available to me before. IT is a knowledge business, and the more you know, the better. I will continue in this vain for the rest of my life. Let’s just say that gaining IT certifications is my new hobby.
